Companies know what they ship. Not who they fail.

I rebuild design functions that were set up to fail. Structural software for truss fabricators. Autism care inside a health insurer. Thirteen industries before those. Different problem every time, same gap in the same place, and almost nobody inside the building can see it.

Why me

Plenty of people can run a design team. I fix the system the team is stuck inside.

01

I build the function, not just the screens.

Charter, roles and a career ladder people can climb. It works when I am not in the room.

02

I bring evidence to the roadmap.

Research runs all year with a named owner, so design stops losing arguments on taste.

03

I still make things. AI included.

I prototype and build the tools myself. AI goes into how the team works, not into a slide.

04

Same failure, every industry.

Healthcare, engineering, travel, finance. I know where to look first.

How I work

Four moves, in this order.

  1. Find who you are failing.

Users, team and the people who sign the checks. The gap is usually in the same place.

  2. Write it down.

If it lives in one head, it is a habit, not a function.

  3. Build the evidence loop.

Research on a cadence, prototypes in days, and a number leadership can argue with.

  4. Ship it and own the tradeoffs.

Every call trades something away. Naming it first keeps the room honest.

What you get

What a business gets

A design team leadership can explain

Clear ownership, roles that match the roadmap, designers who stay.

Ideas tested in days, not quarters

Working prototypes in front of users before engineering commits.

Design measured in business numbers

Conversion, adoption, retention and cost to serve. Not taste.
